Last month, the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce held its 14th annual Women's Conference at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA. This was our first time attending and exhibiting for Amy Rose Photography and Motion. Chelsea operated the booth, where we gave away branded swag, and I (Missy) captured the day.
As photographers, we have the unique ability to showcase the power of community through our lens. When photographing a women's conference, it is essential to focus on the people and their reactions. Every woman attending has her own journey and perspective, which makes for powerful and moving images.
You could feel the excitement, and we met women from different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Listening to their stories and seeing the world through their eyes was a transformative experience.

Amy Rose Productions was so honored to be a part of Changing The Face of Beauty photoshoot! Casting Director and owner of Human Kind Casting, Kristie Raymond, collaborated with the nonprofit in an effort to make casting more intentional and inclusive. To say we're excited is an understatement! We are honored that Rob Haggart from aPhotoEditor opened and featured our promo mailer! We created 100 mailers to share our new and exciting photography with existing and prospective clients . The mailers included a custom printed Zine, hand written note, branded stickers, original illustration art cards, and colored pencils. Over the last few months we were fortunate to connect with the amazing owner and team at Interior Design firm Mackenzie & Co. We were able to collaborate on a few projects and create some stunning imagery and video. Missy and I were so honored when asked to speak on The Voice of Business as they celebrate Women’s History Month! As a Women Owned Business, we feel it is important to speak the truth about our experiences as entrepreneurs and our views working in a predominantly male represented industry. Fun fact! Only 12% of the commercial photography space is occupied by women. Those kind of statistics fuel us to strive for more and continue to compete for greater representation.
